Volunteering Opportunities
We thrive on the support of our volunteers. Whether you have a history of homelessness and would like to volunteer to develop your own skills or provide a meaningful pastime or you are a member of the public who can spare some time and skills to support the enterprises growth and social mission.
Our volunteers augment and support our professionally trained paid delivery staff in the running of the enterprise and the training opportunities for its beneficiaries.
Opportunities for skills development include:
- Metal Working
- Labouring
- Painting and decorating.
- Woodworking
- Picture Framing
- Administration – Front of house
We would be grateful for support with the following voluntary roles:
Front of house – sales and orders, answering telephone etc most days Mon – Fri 8.30-4.30pm and Sat 9-12.30 – hours by negotiation.
Production/ Finishing - would you like to come and help us with our productions. You can learn skills and contribute to the enterprises mission.
General Maintenance – Whether repaint, conversion or clean up we would appreciate your support to help keep the enterprise ship shape.
Art Gallery- With the launch of our upcoming art gallery we will require volunteers to help us make this a sucess by aiding us with the day to day running of these areas.
Skills Development – If you have skills in the above areas (or feasible others) you may like to share with our beneficiaries alongside our paid employees then please do get in touch. The more trainers the more people we can train!
Paid Work Opportunities – Job Advertisements
We do not currently have any vacancies.
Fundraising – All of the profits from the enterprise are gifted to The Base – Two Saints Learning Service. This service facilitates opportunities for people with a history of, or who are at risk of, homelessness to develop confidence, self esteem, skills and promotes and enables training, education and employment readiness programmes.
If you would be interested in helping us raise funds or making a donation in cash or kind for this purpose; or to further develop the enterprise we would love to hear from you. –
